Role Overview

9USRcraft is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ITGC (IT General Controls) Auditor with at least 1 year of experience to join our Information Security team onsite at our Pune location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and testing IT controls across systems, processes, and platforms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform IT General Controls audits across domains such as: Access management, Change management,
    Backup and recovery, Logical and physical security, Incident and problem management.
  • Document control testing procedures and results in line with audit standards.
  • Identify gaps and areas of improvement in internal controls and assist in remediation efforts.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Compliance, Risk) for process understanding and evidence gathering.
  • Maintain compliance with SOX, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks where applicable.
  • Ensure timely reporting of audit findings and follow-up for closure of observations.

Essentials Skills & Experience

  • Experience with audit tools and platforms (e.g., GRC tools).
  • Exposure to internal audit processes or external audits.
  • Certifications (or pursuing) such as CISA, ISO 27001 LA, or similar.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ITGC audits or IT risk assessment.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks like SOX, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security principles.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
